Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X in the UK, 10 Units Away From its End
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series have been regarded by many as the best rally field vehicles in terms of the incorporated technology and price. However the latest model, named the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is facing problems in terms of sales in the UK. Due to the increasing strenght of the Yen, the cost of this vehicle in the UK would have to go up to Rs. 51.74 lakh from Rs. 25.87 Lakh and this has led to the sales of this vehicle becoming virtually impossible and as a result the sales profits are more or less redundant. This has led to the company's decision to stop selling this model in the UK once the last 10 units of the model have been sold out.

As hard as this news will hit the 'EVO' fans, do not fret! Even if you may not be able to get your hands on one of these remaining 10 units of the Evolution X series, you can still hope for a sucessor. In all probability this new replacement will be based off the next Lancer sedan but may not consist of the petrol turbo-charged engine. Instead there is a possibility the new version will come with a deisel or perhaps even a hybrid drive train. As to the question of when this decision will take effect, that sadly is anyone's guess.
