    Mitsubishi Calls Back Outlander to Fix Defective Fuel Pumps

    The well known Indian automobile giant, Hindustan Motors Ltd. have called back the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV because of a defect detected in the fuel pump of some of the models of the SUV. The company has announced to provide a free check of the fuel pump of the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV and will also replace it, if the requirement arises in the vehicle. The people who own a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV are requested to take their vehicles to the nearest Hindustan Motors- Mitsubishi dealer and get there problem registered. The HM-Mitsubishi has not confirmed yet as to how many units of the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV have been affected with this issue.

    The new variant of Outlander SUV has been added just a few months back with 7 seating capacity and 2.4 litre of twin cam, four cylinder petrol engine. The engine of the vehicle is powerful enough and churns out 170 Ps of power with 226 Nm of torque. The Mitsubishi Outlander SUV has been incorporated with six speed CVT gearbox that provides the car to touch the 100 km mark in mere 10 seconds. The SUV has a top speed of 190 km per hours, which is quite impressive in the segment. The company has priced this 7 seater SUV in India very competitively at Rs 20.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The SUV has an aggressive styling and luxury looks. Most of the features of the new Mitsubishi Outlander SUV are borrowed from the Outlander GT Prototype.
