Minister Praful Patel bats for diesel vehicles
Increased tax on diesel cars in Delhi has zoomed the political news and thus Heavy Industry Minister Praful Patel has told to talk to Delhi government regarding this matter. Registration levied on diesel vehicles has been hiked and this has created news in Delhi. The minister also told that, the diesel vehicles are not polluting that much, as the picture were potrayaed.

Minister Praful told that, he will definitely enquire about the main motive behind the increasing taxes. The minister is not happy with such decisions that are taken for the diesel cars only which are used in moderate rate.
In the budget for 2011-12, the Delhi government has hiked the rates by 25 per cent. According to the rumored news, Patel uttered about the discrimination that has been made with the diesel driven cars. According to him, such discriminations should not be entertained. He also said that diesel vehicles exist and that is the only reason for the hiking price is not a good idea. Diesel run cars are were also been a target by environment minister Jairam Ramesh who also mention the diesel vehicles as killers.
The report was speculated that, the agreement with the European Union may lower the import duties on the automobiles. He also said by supporting the auto industry in not lowering the import duties. The domestic manufacturers will be heavily affected by the lowering of import duties in the India-EU free trade agreement. News also stated that, the automobile industry is also demanding not to lower the import duties on the automobiles. In case if such incidents happen, it will lead to lack of interest of the domestic manufactures who are into the automobile business for a long time back. Such decisions should be carefully taken by the government as said by the minister.
