After debuting the made-for-India Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition, the German carmaker has now launched the EQS 580 Celebration Edition at Rs 1.30 crore in India (ex-showroom, pan-India). This special edition has been launched to commemorate a massive 73 percent growth in year-on-year EV sales for Mercedes-Benz India when compared to May 2024.
It gets some feature enhancements that make the rear seat experience properly luxurious . Although it costs the same as the regular model, only 50 units of the electric sedan are being offered in India. What’s New?
While the exterior and interior design of the EQS 580 Celebration Edition remains unchanged, it gets the Rear Seat Comfort Package that makes it even more comfortable at the back than the standard car, which in fact is already one of its key strengths. Here’s a list of those enhancements:

Other Features And Safety
Other features onboard the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition consist of a triple screen setup on the dashboard (including a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 17.7-inch OLED infotainment system and a 12.3-inch passenger display), and dual 11.6-inch rear displays as well as a 7-inch tablet for the back seat passengers to operate important features. It is also equipped with a coloured augmented reality (AR) based heads up display (HUD), electrically adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation and memory functions, 4-zone auto AC, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone chargers, multi-colour ambient lighting. The rear seats also get heating and ventilation features.
On the safety front, it is equipped with multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, park assist, steering assist, rear parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also gets a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with features like adaptive cruise control and driver attention warning.
