C-Class Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz has teased a sketch of the upcoming C-Class Cabriolet. After the Indian Auto Expo, next big thing in the auto industry is the Geneva Motor Show, which will begin from March 1, 2016. A lot of carmakers will be introducing their new models during the auto show and the German auto giant is no exception. This is for the first time ever that this entry level premium sedan will be introduced without a roof.

C-Class Coupe

Based on the C-Class Coupè, the car largely has the same stance, size and appearance. It will feature a fabric roof to save weight. This roof folds into the boot and has a fabric fold, which thereby saves a lot of space. This Coupè will also come with a MB’s AIRSCARF neck-level heating and an AIRCAP air-deflection system. The interiors will also resemble the ones on the 3-door C-Class. This means the car can feature the Seat Comfort package, which gives the driver and front passenger seat an Electro-pneumatic four-way lumbar support and manual seat cushion depth adjustment of up to 6cm, black 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with gearshift paddles (auto transmission only), heated front seats and touchpad with multi-touch control.

C-Class Coupe

The engines are also expected to be carry forwarded from the Coupè, which includes a 2,143cc, 4-cylinder diesel with an output of around 160/200bhp, in different tunes and a 1,991cc, 4-cylinder petrol with an output of around 180bhp. Transmission can be the standard 6-speed manual or the optional 9G-TRONIC PLUS 9-speed automatic. This car will lead Mercedes’s stall at the motor show and will rival the A4 hard top convertible from Audi.
