If rumors are to be believed Mercedes Benz India is all set and geared up to launch Mercedes Benz GLK compact SUV in the country soon. It is expected that Mercedes Benz GLK will give direct competition to BMW X1. However, Mercedes already has Mercedes Benz M class sports utility vehicle, which is in tough competition to BMW X5.

The new Mercedes Benz GLK SUV is a compact SUV, which is also said to give a tough fight to BMW X3 and is expected to be launched in India very soon. The major problem is that Mercedes Benz GLK SUV is currently only available with a left hand drive. However, it is rumored the new model of this compact SUV will be accessible for both the markets and the right hand drive version is also in the pipeline.
