Maruti SX4 facelift speculated to launch in 2012-2013
Maruti India is a very well known car manufacturer in India and as per the rumors floating in the Indian Auto Market, the Maruti SX4 sedan is expected to get a makeover somewhere around 2012-13. Apparently this makeover could make Maruti SX4 the hottest thing. This gen next sedan might sport diverse fuel options. These fuel options could include in the 1.6 litre of multi-jet diesel engine and 1.4 litre of K-Series petrol engine. The multi-jet diesel engine rights have been now acquired from Fiat recently by Maruti Suzuki India.

Now if Maruti SX4 sedan will have 1.4 K-Series engine, this engine will keep the capacity to churn out impressive power of 95 bhp along with 130Nm of torque. On the other hand the 1.6 litre of diesel engine will keep the ability to produce around 105 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. However, next generation Maruti SX4 will have to face a tough competition from Hyundai Verna Fluidic and Volkswagen Vento; both these sedans have super commanding diesel engines.
