Maruti Suzuki Introduces Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition
The Ertiga’s mid-life facelift is around the corner, Suzuki will make a global debut of it on August 20, 2015, at the Indonesian International Motor Show. However, Maruti Suzuki will launch the facelifted Ertiga by the end of this year in the country. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a limited ‘Paseo Explore’ edition of the Ertiga, based on VXi/VDi trims, to commemorate the MPV’s 200,000 sales mark!
Speaking of the additions in the Paseo Explore edition, at the outset, the limited edition get body decals, blacked out D-pillar and body-colored spoiler. On the inside, it offers a cool/warm box, Bluetooth handsfree calling, a multi-device charger along with new seat upholstery, steering wheel cover, pillows, door sill guards and designer mats. Moreover, Ertiga Paseo Explore edition also offers a digital tyre inflator and reverse parking sensors.
As the Paseo Explore edition is based on the VXi/VDi trim, mechanically it remain unaltered. The petrol trims are powered by 1.4-liter K14B 4-cylinder motor generating 95 PS @ 6000 rpm and 130 Nm of peak torque @ 4000 rpm. The diesel trims get Fiat’s 1.3-liter MultiJet dubbed as DDiS mustering 90PS @ 4000 rpm and max torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-Speed manual transmission.
