Maruti Suzuki India Launches Alto 800 Anniversary Edition
India's leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki has now launched the Alto 800 Anniversary Edition to mark the first anniversary of India's top-selling car. Priced at Rs 3.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Anniversary Edition has received few additional features and cosmetic changes on the mid LXI variant.
The changes that the Alto 800 Anniversary edition has received are Purple Haze body colour, new body graphics, blacked out B-pillar, new seat upholstery, body side moulding, body coloured side mirror and rear parcel tray. Moreover, the limited edition Alto 800 also gets Audio system, though optional.
Maruti Suzuki brought in the Alto 800 an year back as a replacement for Alto F8D, and since then the car has been doing superb in terms of sales. Selling over 23,000 units in September 2013 despite the economic slowdown, Alto 800 shows its dominance in the market. The company also launched a special Alto K10 musiK edition a couple of days back.
Both the Alto 800 and Alto K10 special edition are surely going to help the company sell more cars during the on-going festive season.
