    • Mahindra had an impressive run in April, with around 9 percent month-on-month growth. They sold over 50,000 units and moved up from fourth place in March 2025  to second in April.

    Tata Punch 

    • Tata Motors and Hyundai reported a sales decline of up to 14 percent. While Tata managed to hold on to the third spot, Hyundai slipped down the rankings to fourth place, losing its place to Mahindra.

     Kia Syros front

    • Toyota, Kia, and Skoda also saw dipping sales in April 2025 compared to March. They maintained similar positions in this chart and recorded a slight increase in market share despite the overall decline.

    • MG Motor moved up one position in April with a 6 percent increase in monthly sales. They have also recorded a marginal increase in their market share compared to March 2025.

    Honda Amaze 3rd Generation

    • Honda was the most affected brand in April 2025 with over a 50 percent drop in MoM sales. It sold a little over 3,000 units which is less than half of its previous month's sales. 

    • Volkswagen followed Honda with nearly 20 percent drop in sales. However, its market share in April 2025 was similar to that in March 2025.
