Maker of Porsche 911 passed away

Yesterday, the global auto industry lost a gem. The man who actually designed the stunning silhouettes on the world’s most iconic Porsche cars, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche is no more in this world. Ferdinand Alexander Porsche was the grandson of the founder of Porsche, Ferdinand Porsche. He was born on 11th of December 1935 in Stuttgart, Germany. Ferdinand was 76 years old, when he passed away in Austria yesterday. Porsche was a student of industrial design, but he dropped out of the course soon after the university sacked him for touching just the cut off marks in academics.

Ferdinand Alexander Porsche joined in the Porsche engineering team in the year of 1958 and by the year of 1962, he worked hard and was given the designation of being the head of Porsche design studio. In 1963, he unveiled the historic Porsche 901, later called Porsche 911 at the Frankfurt Motor show that year. This stable and elegant design still persists to encourage copious of consumers and designers substantially. The design of Porsche 911 came out with flying colors and it has been around five massive decades that this car has been in action. Besides, Porsche 911, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche also came up with 804 Formula 1 race car along with Porsche 904 Carrera GTS.

With the time, Ferdinand established a new Porsche Design Studio as well, which comprised of a wide range of accessories. These accessories included cutlery, watches and what not, all with Porsche motif. With the death of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the global auto industry has certainly suffered a huge loss. Porsche showed the world that even unconventional car designs could become conventional and could sustain in the market for decades. F.A. Porsche will always be in the heart of every car lover and his legacy will prevail in the form of Porsche 911 supercar forever.
