Former Indian cricketer and ex-captain of the Indian cricket team, M S Dhoni, has recently added a swanky new Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV to his impressive garage collection. A video on social media captured the moment, showing him comfortably seated inside his black AMG G 63 SUV, with its distinctive ‘0007’ registration ( his birthdate, and also his jersey number).

M S Dhoni’s exotic collection also includes a red Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV, which was gifted to him by his wife, Sakshi Dhoni. ‘Captain Cool,’ as he’s fondly referred to, also has a custom red and black Mahindra Scorpio, a previous-gen Land Rover Defender, and a green Nissan Jonga (bought and restored in 2019), along with other vintage cars.

The Mercedes SUV is renowned for its huge road presence, power, and off-road prowess. It is equipped with a 4-litre V8 bi-turbo-petrol engine (585 PS/850 Nm), coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The AMG G 63 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds, with its top speed electronically limited to 220 kmph. The AMG G 63 gets 4-wheel-drive (4WD) as standard.
It is loaded with features like dual 12.3-inch displays (one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation), a 590W 15-speaker Burmester sound system, and a single-pane sunroof.
