The entry-level variant of Maruti’s new flagship, the Grand Vitara, is priced similar to the base variants of its rivals. It is only available with the mild-hybrid petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual. While it is relatively affordable, is it worth considering?

Why consider the Grand Vitara Sigma variant?

The base-spec Grand Vitara is an accessible entry point for those seeking the biggest and newest Maruti SUV. It offers basic comforts such as climate control with rear AC vents, height adjustable driver seat, power-folding ORVMs and safety features like electronic stability control and hill-hold assist. This variant is also suitable for those on a tight budget and whom are open to fitting aftermarket accessories at a later date.

Delta	The true entry-level option on a strict budget, only consider it with the automatic transmission.
