Hyundai Grand i10 registers 10,000 bookings within 20 days

Hyundai Motor India, the country's second largest car manufacturer has received an excellent response for the newly launched Grand i10 hatchback. With over 110,000 enquiries and over 10,000 bookings within 20 days, Grand has been well accepted by customers as a value proposition despite the adverse market conditions.
Post the launch of Grand in the Indian car market, Hyundai has experienced a 55 per cent rise in footfalls at dealerships across all regions and most dealerships are recording multiple enquiries and test drive requests. The car has received an impressive with over 70,000 test drive bookings already.
Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing - HMIL expressed, "With the outstanding response that the car has received post its launch, we are confident the Grand will set a new benchmark in the compact high entry segment with regard to styling, performance, safety and convenience. Despite the challenging market scenario this quarter, we feel that Grand will continue to generate substantial customer interest and excitement all throughout."
On 3rd September, 2013, Hyundai India launched Grand i10 with a highly advanced and frugal second generation U2 CRDi diesel engine, which is combination of optimum performance along with high fuel efficiency of 24kmpl. Also the highly acclaimed all-aluminum 1.2-litre kappa petrol engine comes with Dual VTVT mechanism delivers optimum engine performance with best-in-class mileage of 18.9kmpl.
