2014 Honda Jazz is coming again after a brief discontinuation last year, well it will surely put smiles on many faces! Jazz is expected to launch in the second quarter of this year after the Mobilio MPV and it will be produced at their new Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. Honda Motors displayed the upcoming Fit (Jazz is known as Fit worldwide) at the on-going 2014 Auto China (13th Beijing Automobile Exhibition). Speaking of engines, globally Jazz features a 1.5 litre i-VTEC but given the popularity of diesel engines in India one could see the current 1.5 litre i-DTEC engine making its way to the product line-up. The engine isn't new as it is available in the Amaze as well as in the City with a 1.2 litre petrol as another alternative. However, the air will only get clearer as we near the launch of this vehicle. There are possibility that the hatch could feature a six-speed manual transmission borrowed from the City to make it the most fuel efficient in the country like they did it with the City and Amaze.
