Fiat India website features Bravo hatchback
Apparently, the Fiat India website showcases the Fiat Bravo hatchback. If this could mean that the Italian car manufacturer, Fiat choose to launch the model Fiat Bravo hatchback in India, it might come as a great surprise because generally, a hatchback is acknowledged as a low maintenance car, best suited as an inexpensive family car.

However, the launch of the Fiat Bravo might help Fiat build its brand image depicting the skills of Fiat's potential in hatchback manufacturing. Making an entry into the hatchback segment could be the reason behind Fiat's intention to launch the Fiat Bravo hatchback, as the Italian auto major has been able to mark only marginal success with Fiat Linea Sedan and Fiat Grande Punto hatchback. The Fiat Bravo price is speculated to be placed around Rs 16 - Rs 18 lakhs.
It is also supposed that the Fiat Bravo hatchback could be brought into India as a completely built unit, which explains the high price for the hatchback. There had been rumors going around that the Fiat Bravo hatch could be launched in India during 2012 , but no official confirmation has been received so far.

The Fiat Bravo specifications reveal that, the hatchback is likely to be offered in both the petrol and the diesel variants, and the petrol variant is expected to house a 1.4 liter T-jet engine, while the diesel variant is expected to come with 1.9 liter Multijet engine that keeps the capacity to produce 150 Bhp maximum power and 305 Nm peak torque.
Now, if one is smart enough to understand the current market strategy, it could be said that instead of Fiat planning to launch its premium hatchback Fiat Bravo in the car market to make its stupendous entry, they should instead concentrate more on employing better marketing strategies for their existing product line-up in India.
