Ferrari to open first dealership in New Delhi on May 26.

The coming May 26th could be a memorable day for the sports car lovers in India. Reason: Ferrari is hoped to open its first dealership on this day in New Delhi. As per insiders report, the dealership for the sports car maker will be located in the Janpath area and in due course would showcase all the Ferrari offerings in there. Mumbai would be the second destination for the Ferrari presence in India. A further expansion plan is on the cards, added sources.
Once things take shape, Ferrari India expects to introduce its entire range in India. Starting from Ferrari California Spider which is a Rs2.2 crore car besides the Rs2.56 crore Ferrari 458 Italia and Rs3.37 crore Ferrari 599 GTB and the Rs4 cr plus Ferrari FF. Ferrari was expected to pitch in its dealership in the country in mid-2010 but it was delayed for unknown reasons.
It was early this year that an announcement came from Ferrari that cleared the stance that Ferrari is finally all set to be in India soon. It was also revealed that the Porsche and Ducati distributors, the Shreyans Group would be the Ferrari distributors as well. Lately, the Shreyans were also appointed by Maserati which is expected to come up with its dealership in Mumbai soon.
