    Eyes will be on Indian firms and small cars at Delhi Auto Expo

    The 10th Auto Expo is all set to woo Indian customers in January, 2010. A large number of domestic and foreign auto companies are expected to participate in the grand show. In the last year's Auto Expo, 1300 domestic firms and 700 foreign auto firms had participated. Launching of Tata Nano was the most remarkable feature of last year's Auto Expo. Tata Nano has set up a milestone for all auto industries. The main excitement in this event will be the showcasing of compact cars. Now each and every auto firm is coming up with the new compact cars so as to grab good percentage in the market-share.

Now each and every auto firm is coming up with the new compact cars so as to grab good percentage in the market-share. Keeping the concept of compact car in mind , General Motors is coming up with a new small car, Chevrolet Beat in Indian market. Apart from this, Toyota has already announced to launch a small car which is designed and developed especially for Indian Market. Other auto companies are also all set for their product launching at the show. These include SUV, MUV, sports cars and compact cars. In recent times, Indian auto industry has showed its worth despite of global recession and it has grown at a rate of 15-27 per cent over the past five years. Volkswagen (VW) is also reported to launch its new car Volkswagen Polo in India. However, production of the car has already been started in its Indian plant.
