Elantra, another winner from Hyundai?

Hyundai had recently launched the Elantra in its Fluidic avatar, and again the design and the entire package is appreciated by the Indian masses, as it has done far more sales numbers than the segment leader Toyota Corolla Altis.

In the last three months, Toyota has sold an average of about 430 units a month of the Corolla Altis, with a total of 1,308 vehicles. On the other hand, Hyundai has sold about 2,057 units in the last three months— averaging about 650 units a month.

Chevrolet Cruze was the closest competition to the Corolla Altis in the recent times, but at the moment Elantra has overshadowed the Corolla Altis in terms of sales numbers. But the real task is to sustain the position, for which we will have to wait and watch.
