Chevrolet Beat Diesel soon to be rolled out
General Motors India would hopefully roll out its Chevrolet Beat Diesel in July. According to sources the Chevrolet Beat Diesel will run on 1L three-cylinder engine that produces 57bhp power and a maximum torque of 140Nm at 1750rpm. Once launched, the Chevrolet Beat Diesel will be the smallest diesel car in India. Besides, it would be one of the most economical car too. As per the test run reports, the Chevrolet Beat Diesel delivered a mileage of 24kmpl.

It is also known that General Motors is putting the little genie that has a multijet-derived engine TCDi variant to rigorous tests. The expected Chevrolet Beat Price in India is Rs4.5 lakh. However, it is also said that GM was in no way in the process of making the Chevrolet Beat Diesel as the most fuel efficient car. Moreover, almost all the Chevrolet cars in India such as Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Tavera, and Chevrolet Spark are quite fuel efficient.

The Beat Diesel is also hoped to be installed with a VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger) in order to put in more power and torque to the car.
