Bugatti to make a luxury sedan
The luxury car manufacturer Bugatti will soon make a new saloon for the year 2014 which will be on the same platform of Audi A8. It is being learned in the media that the Volkswagen Group has taken the decision that the luxury carmaker Bugatti should stop the manufacturing of the super sports saloon like Veyron by 2014 as it will help in the luxury car maker to aim on the new sedan model.
Volkswagen AG, the parent firm has not been able to generate profit even with the speciality marque and will need to enhance its skills in the company to accelerate the sales volumes. If looking at the various car brand under the group, Bugatti generates the least volume in the Volkswagen Group. However, the new saloon car model which will be manufactured on the same lines with Audi A8, is expected to inspire from 16C Galiber Concept which was introduced by Bugatti by 2009. In the Autocar UK show the concept car was unveiled which is now gaining a step further to production.
The new concept car 16C Galibier is a magnificent car which is affixed with all wheel drive sedan and is powered with a 8.0 litre, 6 cylinder powertrain. It is same technology which can be found in Veyron and can generate a power of 800 Ps (789 bhp / 588 kW). Veyron, on the other hand can churn a power of 1000 Ps (986 bhp/ 735 kW).
