Bookings commence unofficially for the upcoming diesel variant of Etios Twins
Diesel versions of cars are dominating the Indian car market currently. To make most of this situation, it is speculated that Toyota Motors might launch the diesel variants of its Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback on 9th of September in India. Apparently, the unofficial bookings for the diesel version of Etios twins have already begun. According to the grapevine, three diesel variants of Toyota Etios Sedan will be launched along with 2 variants of Toyota Etios Liva diesel. Furthermore, to confirm this rumor more, there has been various sighting of the diesel version of Etios twins in Bangalore. If reports are to be believed, unofficial bookings have been already started for Rs. 50,000. The pre-poning launch of the diesel variants of Toyota Etios Liva is basically because of the slower sales of Toyota Etios Liva petrol version.

Alternatively, Toyota Etios sedan received an overwhelming response by the consumers since the time of its launch. But with competitors like Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios sedan faced a little difficultly in surviving. Lately, there has been some kind of quality issues with Toyota Etios sedan, which were caused by the high cost cutting of the price to compete with other cars in the Indian car market. The reasons why Toyota Etios Liva hatchback received a lukewarm response are that the petrol engine performance is average, the looks are not that stunning, and it has some kind of issues with the interior space. Furthermore, with competition like the all new Maruti Swift, the survival became more difficult.

But according to the reports, the issues are fixed and the diesel variant of Toyota Etios Liva will surely live up to the expectation of the Indian car market and the consumers. The Toyota Etios Sedan diesel version will also come with new engine, high performance and will provide the customers with better fuel efficiency, which is a must requirement. However, there has been no word on the pricing factor of these cars, but one could expect that the price tag of the cars will be lucrative in order to compete with other diesel cars in the Indian car market.
