BMW X6M and X5M to be Launched on October 15

We brought you the exclusive spy shots of two of BMW’s performance cars, the X6M and X5M back in July and now the manufacturer is all set to launch this duo on October 15. Both the performance cars are expected to be priced over INR 1.5 Crore when launched and is expected to boost up the company’s image among both buyer and enthusiasts. Other two German car giants have also brought in a number of performance cars to India like the Audi RS7, Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe, Audi RS6 Avant and so on.

Speaking of the Bimmer, both of these will be getting a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo V8 that produces 575 PS of power and a hefty 750 Nm of torque. Transmission of power will be handled by an 8-Speed automatic with paddle shifters coupled to the BMW XDrive all wheel drive system.

BMW X6M and X5M rear

There would be subtle changes on the inside and on the exteriors that will comprise of different bumpers for the front and rear, larger alloy wheels, twin-quad exhaust tips and all around M badging.

When launched, both of these cars will be competing against the likes of Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
