Audi Q2's First Teaser Video is Out!

Audi Germany has released the first teaser of the upcoming Q2, which is all set to make its public debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The new crossover will sit below the compact-sized Q3 and Audi is calling it ‘the new Q’! The vehicle in the video is evading a dirt road and is dressed up in yellow shade. Audi Q2 will go on sale later this year in the European market and it is expected that it will be launched somewhere in 2017 in the Indian market. We believe that it will be launched in India as the crossover-SUV market is on a rise and if priced appropriately, at a price point of an A3, this car can become a new best seller for the German brand in the country. 

Nothing concrete has been released by the Ingolstadt-based luxury carmaker about this new crossover. It is expected that the vehicle will be revealed online, prior to the show. Now, coming to the video, what we can extract is that it will have a floating roof, as the C-pillars have been blacked out. Besides this, the previous teaser had revealed subtle details about the silhouette and lighting of the new Q2. Speaking of which, LED daytime running lights appear very much similar to that of the facelifted A6. A similar story has been seen with the taillamps graphics as well. Moreover, the overall silhouette lies undoubtedly similar to that of the Audi’s Q lineup. Stay Tuned for more.
