The Exclusive Pro variant gets most of the essential features you would need but misses out on the premium additions like ventilated seats, glass roof, ADAS and more
MG Motor India has recently added the ‘Exclusive Pro’ variant to the MG Windsor EV lineup. The Windsor EV is now available in a total of five variants: Excite, Exclusive, Essence, Exclusive Pro, and Essence Pro, with the last two featuring the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack. While we briefly discussed the new Exclusive Pro variant earlier, this time we’ll take a detailed look at all the features it offers.
What Features Does The Exclusive Pro Get?
The new Exclusive Pro variant of the Windsor EV comes equipped with the following features:

The Exclusive Pro variant also gets the new Ivory White cabin theme that debuted with the Essence Pro.

It features most of the premium elements like LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and a 15.6-inch touchscreen, however, it misses out on the fixed glass roof, ventilated front seats and the 256-colour ambient lighting that comes with the Essence and Essence Pro trims.

Safety-wise it shares most of the modern features like 360-degree camera, TPMS, hill descent control and auto headlamps.

Features like powered tailgate, vehicle-to-load (V2L), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology, and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) are kept exclusive to the top-spec Essence Pro variant.
Powertrain Option
The Exclusive Pro is currently the most affordable variant in the MG Windsor EV’s lineup to get the bigger 52.9 kWh battery option. There is also a 38 kWh option available with the lower variants. The detailed specifications of both the packs are as follows:

Price & Rivals
The MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro is priced at Rs 12.25 lakh with a battery rental plan, which includes a rental fee of Rs 4.5 per km. If you choose to purchase the EV along with the battery, the total cost comes to Rs 17.25 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, pan-India).
The Windsor EV competes with the Mahindra XUV400 EV and the Tata Nexon EV.
