2014 Skoda Snowman or Grand Yeti SUV might be placed above Yeti
Skoda’s new crossover SUV, apparently named as Skoda Snowman or Skoda Grand Yeti is based on VW's MQB platform. Being based on Volkswagen MQB platform, there are possibilities that it could result in expenditure efficiencies for Skoda as this platform by Volkswagen will be used in new models of Skoda, Audi, Seat and Volkswagen. Furthermore, VW's MQB platform will facilitate sharing of manufacturing facilities for the above mentioned car brands. The new 2014 Skoda Snowman is expected look grand and stunning. The SUV is expected to take up bits and pieces from the traditional Skoda design and will feature the eminent vertical grille on the front with archetype headlamps.

This crossover SUV is expected to look more or like Skoda Yeti but with a raised hatchback. Apart from this, the VW MQB platform is pretty flexible to support 4x4 construction, which means that the 2014 Skoda Grand Yeti might come with 4x4 drive system. However, the 4x2 version of the SUV is also expected to be rolled out for mileage conscious consumers. The 2014 Skoda Grand Yeti could come up with 3 fresh body styles, one with regular wheelbase, one with stretched wheelbase and a four door coupe version.
