The real SUV of India, Tata Safari Storme was launched yesterday, starting at a price tag of Rs 9.95lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Safari made its debut in 1998 and after 14 years, Tata has made the biggest change in its platform as it now gets the X2 platform. This not only makes the Safari lighter but also increases it rigidity. The ride and handling characteristics are much more improved than the previous Safari.
