Revised version of Santro will be launched next month
Hyundai India Motor wants to phase out its premium hatchback Hyundai Getz by 2011 but will launch a revised version of Hyundai Santro next month. H.S.Lheem at the annual convention of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers said, We will launch a revised version of the Hyundai Santro on Sep 1, and an 800 cc car in a few years.

Hyundai India Motor wants to phase out its premium hatchback Hyundai Getz by 2011 but will launch a revised version of Hyundai Santro next month. H.S.Lheem at the annual convention of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers said, We will launch a revised version of the Hyundai Santro on Sep 1, and an 800 cc car in a few years.
H.S.Lheem said the company will shift the production of its Hyundai i20 model for export purposes to Europe in mid-next year. The company is expecting that the upcoming festive season would bring better sales around 40,000 Hyundai i20. Hyundai is also expected to increase the production capacity from 2,000 units a day to about 2,500 units, from September 14.
