Maruti launches S-Cross special edition at INR 8.99 lacs
Maruti has launched a special edition of S-Cross named as Premia. The car is based on the Delta variant of S-Cross DDiS200 and is the second variant. Priced at INR 8.99 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) it gets additional features that are not available in the standard car.
The additional features include alloy wheels, dual airbags and ABS, Garmin Navigation system with color display, rear parking assist with camera and fog lamps. Since the Premia version is a special edition, it is offered at a lower price than the standard Delta variant and along with these extra offerings.
As it is a limited version, this S-Cross will only stay in the dealerships for a limited period of time. Moreover, as it is only available in a limited number of cities the number of units are certainly very low. The launch of the Premia version is aimed to give a sales push to this particular car.
Powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine, S-Cross DDiS200 get the necessary push from the 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque that this engine produces. Other than this, the 1.6-litre DDiS320 engine is also available, which is mated to a 6-speed manual.
