Latest Update: Maruti has discontinued the S-Cross and replaced it with its newest compact SUV offering, the Grand Vitara.
Price: At the time of its discontinuation, the Maruti S-Cross was priced between Rs 8.95 lakh and Rs 12.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: It was offered in four trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.
Engine and Transmission: Propulsion duties were carried out by a 1.5-litre petrol engine (105PS and 138Nm), mated to a five-speed manual and an optional four-speed automatic. The mild-hybrid tech was available with both manual and automatic variants of the S-Cross.
Features: Its features list had a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, LED projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Safety: Its standard safety kit included dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
Rivals: It was a rival to the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic was also a rugged alternative to the S-Cross.
