Isuzu launches Automatic Variant of MU-7 at Rs. 23.90 lacs
Isuzu Motors India has launched the automatic version of their flagship SUV - MU-7. The MU-7 AT Premium comes at a price of Rs. 23.90 Lacs (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Apart from the addition of an automatic gearbox, it also sports few new features.

What’s new?
- 3.0-liter Isuzu i-TEQ VGS Turbo diesel with automatic transmission
- New three spoke steering wheel with mounted controls and 2 tone (Beige/Black) dashboard layout with glossy lacquer finished wood trim accents
- New touchscreen infotainment system (Kenwood 6015 BT) with built-in satellite navigation and it doubles-up as reverse parking camera screen
- The vehicle also now comes with rear parking sensors
Commenting on the introduction of the model, Mr. Naohiro Yamaguchi, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “We are happy to add the new MU-7 AT variant to our current product portfolio. Many have approached us for an Automatic variant in the MU-7 and with this launch we are sure that a wider range of SUV enthusiasts will prefer the MU-7”.
Mechanically, it is powered by the same 2999 cc intercooled ISUZU VGS turbo diesel. The motor chucks out 163 PS at 3,600 rpm and max torque of 333 Nm @ 1600-3200 rpm (the manual version produces 360 Nm of torque between 1,800-2,800 rpm).
