Fiat Launches Updated Linea 125S At Rs 10.46 Lakh
The Linea gets more power!
Remember the gorgeous blue Fiat Linea showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo? Good news! You can buy one now. Fiat has launched an updated version of the Linea called the 125S. Available only in the Emotion trim, it is priced at Rs 10.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 125S moniker is a result of the 125PS of power that its 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor develops. With that kind of power, the Linea extends its lead as the most powerful C-segment sedan on sale in India today. Mr. Kevin Flynn, president and managing director, FCA India said, “FIAT cars are known for their performance and by adding more horsepower to our model range we are only living up to our brand promise ‘Crafted for Car Lovers’. Besides that we do make great-looking cars.”
The Italian automaker has also added a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports USB, SD-Card and Bluetooth connectivity. The unit will also double up as the screen for the reverse camera and gets navigation as well. Other features include 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers and cruise control.

Added power is always welcome, and we cannot wait to get our hands on the Linea 125S and put it to the test. Inspite of offering a healthy balance of performance and features, Fiat products have failed to gain traction in the market. Whether the Linea 125S has what it takes to turn it around, remains to be seen.
