2016 Delhi Auto Expo: Jaguar F-Type makes a pouncing stance
Jaguar F-Type has made its presence known at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The F-Type Coupe has been showcased at the expo along with the latest Jaguar XF and F-Pace SUV. The Jaguar F-Type is available in India in both coupe and convertible forms. While the F-Type Coupe comes in four variants with two engine options, the F-Type Convertible is available in two variants with two engine options.

The F-Type Coupe base variant is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine putting out 340 hp at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 3500 to 5000 rpm. The F-Type S Coupe gets a more powerful version of the same engine with an output of 380 hp and a peak torque of 460 Nm. This is the same engine that is fitted to the F-Type S Convertible too.
A 5.0-litre V8 engine powers the F-Type R Coupe, F-Type R AWD Coupe and F-Type R Convertible. The V8 puts out a maximum power of 550 hp at 6500 rpm and 680 Nm of peak torque at 3500 rpm. All the engines are available with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
