A press release from the White House quoted that, Curtis and Mahindra Reva have taken a commendable leap. These car makers have advanced themselves from the traps of commercialisation and suffixed themselves with the clean environmental cars in India as well as around the world.
The mini revolutionary car has already hit the roads of Bangalore and is gaining popularity day and night. It was also reported that the mini car Reva is ready to compete in the main stream market as it comes from an established manufacturing house in India.
The environment is on the red mark and a big factor is emissions, the world is losing its grip on the environmental issues. With governments worldwide joining hands for environment protection by introducing strict emission norms, Reva is sure to go places as it has already generated a lot of interest in the European market.
The new car has also been launched with the lithium ion battery which will be affixed in Reva Lion. The new mini car will swap the passenger at a speed of 80 km per hour, covering a distance of 20 km per charge. Reva, coming from Mahindra gained the attention in the Frankfurt Motor Show, as the electric car will come with NXR and NXG.
The newly launched NXG is anticipated to come in the first three months of 2011. NXR, recently introduced will be a 2-door car perfect for family which will be a four seater car. Well with the NXR, the company intends to change the outlook towards the mini car which is regarded as the second car or a women's car.
