Upcoming 6 And 7-Seater Cars Arriving In India Later In 2025

Cars with three rows of seating offer greater practicality, providing extra space to carry more passengers or additional luggage during long trips. We are already four months into 2025, but many new three-row cars are still set to debut later this year. If you are planning to buy a car with a three-row seating layout, here are some upcoming MPVs and SUVs that will offer six or seven-seater options.
Renault Triber Facelift
Expected Price: Rs 6.25 lakh (ex-showroom)
The facelifted Renault Triber has been spied multiple times, which is expected in the second half of 2025. It will get design changes like refreshed lighting elements, a redesigned bumper, and new alloy wheels. Inside, it is likely to feature an updated dashboard layout and a new colour scheme. The Triber facelift is expected to continue with the same 72 PS 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and similar transmission options.
Kia Clavis
Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kia has been actively teasing the upcoming Clavis, which is scheduled to debut on May 8, 2025. It is expected to be offered with both 6-seater and 7-seater layout choices and will be sold alongside the Carens. Based on the latest teasers, the Clavis will feature refreshed styling and is likely to get a modern interior with features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic AC, and ADAS. It is expected to be offered with the same petrol and diesel engine options as the Carens.
7-Seater Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Expected Price: Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom)
Maruti is expected to launch the 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara SUV by the end of 2025. It will likely feature some design changes to set it apart from the current Grand Vitara. While interior details have not been revealed yet, it is expected to get additional features such as a larger infotainment system and ADAS. Powertrain options are yet to be known, but for reference, the current Grand Vitara can be had with either a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid and naturally aspirated petrol engine, the latter getting an optional CNG kit.
7-Seater Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Expected Price: Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom)
Similar to the Grand Vitara, Toyota is also expected to launch a 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Compared to the current 5-seater model, the three-row Urban Cruiser Hyryder will feature design and interior updates as well as some additional features. Kia Carens EV
Expected Price: Rs 16 lakh(ex-showroom)
The electric version of the Kia Carens MPV has been spotted multiple times and is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year. Along with an electric powertrain, the Carens EV will offer the same practicality with six and seven-seater layout options as the ICE-powered Carens. It is expected to be offered with multiple battery pack choices, delivering a claimed range of up to 500 km.
Mahindra XEV 7e
Expected Price: Rs 20.9 lakh (ex-showroom)
Mahindra is expected to expand its electric SUV portfolio with the launch of the XEV 7e by the end of this year. It has been spied multiple times, featuring sleek LED DRLs similar to the XEV 9e. The XEV 7e is also expected to take inspiration for its interior from the XEV 9e, while coming equipped with features such as a triple-screen layout, connected car tech, and ADAS. It will likely feature multiple powertrain options delivering a claimed range of up to 650 km.
MG Majestor
Expected Price: Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom)
After making its debut at the 2025 Auto Expo, the MG Majestor is expected to launch in the coming months. While it features a more aggressive design compared to MG’s current full-size SUV, the Gloster, it is expected to be offered with similar 6-seater and 7-seater options. The Majestor is also likely to be offered with the same 2-litre diesel engine options as the Gloster.
MG M9
Expected Price: Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom)
Last but not least is the M9, which was also showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. The main highlight of the M9 is not just its three-row luxury interior but also its feature-loaded cabin. Key features include reclining Ottoman seats with extendable leg rests, powered sunshades, dual sunroof, and a range of other convenience features. It will likely be offered with a 90 kWh battery pack paired with a 245 PS/350 Nm electric motor setup. The M9 will take on the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival.
