Tata Hexa

The 13th edition of Auto Expo is going on in full swing and CarDekho team has given its audience the most extensive coverage on ground. While the event will keep on mesmerising the automobile enthusiasts for another few days, we have compiled a list of SUVs which grabbed massive attention of the people around.

Honda BR-V

The much awaited BR-V was finally unveiled to please the waiting eyes of spectators at Expo. Expected to be launched in mid 2016, the car looks marvellous with the DRLs and the changed front fascia it gets. Though the automobile looks impressive inside and out, it is going to face some tough competition in future by the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster.

Tata Hexa

Tata revealed its replacement for Aria, which came in form of Hexa, at the Auto Show. Previously displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the SUV runs on VARICOR 400 2.2 litre diesel engine. This car comes with some latest features like custom settings for suspension system (you can choose from Automatic, Dynamic and Comfort), terrain management system and window shades.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) took the covers off from its giant, the Wrangler Unlimited. Made to conquer rough terrains, the vehicle looks all-set to lock horns with Land Rover Freelander. Let it be the signature Jeep grille at the front or tailgate mounted spare wheel at the rear, Wrangler made sure that it was an absolute Jeep product. It is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2016.

Jaguar F-Pace SUV

Jaguar revealed its first SUV in the Indian market, the F-Pace, at the Expo. Aiming to dislodge Audi Q7 from its position, the car has a 8-inch InControl infotainment system accompanied by a 5-inch multi-info display. The car will be offered in four variants - Pure, Prestige, R-Sport and First Edition. Its launch is expected to place sometime in the latter half of 2016.

Ssangyong Tivoli

Mahindra brought Ssangyong Tivoli to the event. The car’s design is inspired by SsangYong XIV-Air Adventure concept where it gets slim-line radiator grille and upswept headlights at the front and 18-inch alloy wheels on the four corners. India bound model will probably get the 1.6-litre diesel engine, currently deployed in UK spec model. The mill generates 115PS of power and 300Nm peak torque. On petrol side, 1.6-litre powerhouse that generates 128PS and 160Nm max torque would be installed.
