SsangYong Tourismo Arrives in the UK

The homegrown auto major Mahindra & Mahindra owned South Korean car brand SsangYong has today introduced the all new Tourismo in the UK. With over 5 metres lenght and a 3 metres wheelbase, the Tourismo doesn't have a direct competitor, as the dimensions make it larger than a standard sized MPV including Ford Galaxy, Renault Grand Scenic. The company further claims that it is more of a car than popular vans like the Hyundai i800, Mercedes Viano or VW Carvelle.

The homegrown auto major Mahindra Mahindra owned South Korean car brand SsangYong has today introduced the all new Tourismo in the UK. With over 5 metres lenght and a 3 metres wheelbase, the Tourismo doesn't have a direct competitor, as the dimensions make it larger than a standard sized MPV including Ford Galaxy, Renault Grand Scenic. The company further claims that it is more of a car than popular vans like the Hyundai i800, Mercedes Viano or VW Carvelle.

It also has huge interior space, despite a huge 875 litres of luggage space, it can easily accommodate seven people. Developed as a family car, it is multi utility vehicle with great ride comfort and has equipment levels of a luxury saloon. The Turismo is now available to order from over 50 SsangYong dealers across the UK.

Deriving its power from SsangYong's own 2.0-litre turbo charged e-XDi200 diesel engine, the Tourismo churns out the maximum power of 153bhp and 360Nm of torque. A buyer has has options to chose from a 6-speed manual transmission and a five-speed Mercedes-Benz T-Tronic automatic transmission.
