Special edition of Toyota Innova launched in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motors, an Indian subsidiary of Japan based leading car maker Toyota, launched a special edition of its popular crossover Innova in India, on Wednesday. The new edition Toyota Innova has been priced at Rs 8.87 lakh ( Delhi, ex showroom). According to company, the special edition of this model has been launched to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Innova in India and only 700 units of this model will be sold in the country.

The new special edition will be available across all dealerships of TKM till September 2010. A factory fitted newly designed bumper, front grill and rear door varnish are some new features added in this special edition. The new model will be available in only premium super white color.

Mr Sandeep Singh, TKM's Deputy Managing Director, said on the occasion that the Toyota Innova has been highly appreciated by company's customers and has been the market leader in the its segment ever since its launch in 2005. The company has been focusing on constantly upgrading its products based on customer feedback and is now delighted to launch the all-new edition of the Innova in India.

The Innova was first launched in India in year 2005 and the company has managed to sell more than 2.26 lakh units of the car since then. It is currently available in four variants and priced in the range of Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 11.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
