Renault to unveil its hatchback concept at Indian GP

Renault India will showcase its hatchback codenamed ‘Renault B58’ during the Formula 1 racing event in India scheduled for October 28th-30, 2011. The new small car will be showcased as its concept form and the production version of the Renault B58 hatchback will be launched in the first quarter of 2012. However, Renault B58 price is still a mystery. After launching Renault Koleos last month Renault will bring in the diesel variant of its sedan Renault Fluence next month.
An upcoming car Renault Duster SUV will also arrive at Indian shores by late 2012. Renault Duster price is estimated to be Rs 12 lakh in Indian market though this SUV will not exactly be like Dacia Duster sold in Europe. Huge investments plans are also holding on by Renault for the promotion of brand in India. Renault, earlier, said in a statement that it wants to reach to top 3 car manufacturer in India.
The company has planned voraciously for this aim and will spend a whopping Rs. 6.5 crore during Indian Grand Prix. Online marketing with tie ups with Yahoo and animations to be presented at Renault’s showrooms, where F1 tickets can be won are the major planning. Renault has also planned many events in and around the F1 GP during the race sessions along with the display of Renault’s F1 vehicle and Renault’s engines.
