Renault is Offering Scala RxL Diesel at petrol counterpart price - Rs. 8.01 Lac!
Renault India is offering Scala RxL Diesel trim at special price of Rs. 8.01 lac which is equivalent to its RxL petrol counterpart! Renault says the offer is applicable to limited stock until it lasts. The vehicle also comes with two year additional warranty and 4 years free roadside assistance.
Speaking of the RxL diesel variant, the trim comes modestly loaded - starting with the safety first, it comes with dual front airbags for driver and co-passenger, ABS plus EBD with Brake Assist and rides on 185/65 R15 alloys. On the inside, RxL trim offers automatic air conditioning with rear AC vents, height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry among others. Moreover, the central console is updated just like new Micra/Pulse and gets piano black finish and sports integrated double-din audio unit with tuner CD/MP3 and AUX-in options
Mechanically, Scala gets similar engine line-up like its alter-ego Nissan Sunny - 1.5 liter K9K dCi turbo diesel and 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol. The 1.5L diesel with fixed geometry turbo and intercooler chucks out 84.8 bhp of max power and 200Nm of peak torque, and mated to 5-speed manual box with certified fuel economy of 21.64 kmpl. Petrol trim’s 1.5 liter unit gathers 97.7 bhp for the 5-speed manual unit while with CVT automatic motor produces 100 bhp; torque is similar at 134 Nm. Petrol gets 16.95 kmpl fuel efficiency tag.
