Renault Fluence E4 D set to hit the showrooms on 3rd April
Renault India is readying to roll out on the Indian roads a new Diesel Engine Renault Fluence E4 D housed with a Step 2 CRDI diesel engine. The launch is going to take place on Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at the Hotel Lalit in Connaught Place, Delhi. This new car will be equipped with a new generation, Step 2 CRDI diesel engine which would be also powering the Renault Duster when it comes to India later this year. The car will retain all the other features including the picturesque exteriors that flaunt a low slung rounded body line. The front of the car is rounded too with a slim chrome grille flanked by cat eye headlamps; the air dam runs along the width of the car and the big Renault logo is firmly set on the head of the bonnet.

The side profile of Renault Fluence sports a sloping roofline that gives a coupe-like feel to the car. The boot lid at the rear end carries the same big logo and the name of the car in large font just below it; the taillights are elegantly shaped like petals imbibing a fresh element to the overall appearance of the car. The interiors of the car are nicely done with full leather upholstery and the dashboard is pretty voguish with dual theme of beige and black. The car looks pretty spacious inside offering a lot of comfort to the occupants. The 3-spoke steering is done in fine leather and can be adjusted for height and reach manually.

The central console is fully equipped with LCD screen, USB and aux-in support and Bluetooth connectivity for calls etc. Other features of the Renault Fluence E4 diesel include the side windows and rear windshield curtains, rain sensing wipers, auto fold/unfold electric wing mirrors and auto dimming centre rear view mirror. The car is bestowed with safety features like ABS with EBD, ESP (Electronic Stability Programme), front two airbags, side chest leveling airbags, etc.
