Renault Duster Booking Starts in India

Cardekho has recently reported about Renault India's plan of launching its much awaited SUV Renault Duster in the very first week of July. The company has just kickstarted its booking across all the dealerships in India and looking at the enthusiasm and the positive response that the SUV recieved during its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2012, there are high hopes attached to it.

Cardekho has recently reported about Renault India's plan of launching its much awaited SUV, Renault Duster in the very first week of July. The company has just kickstarted its booking across all the dealerships in India and looking at the enthusiasm and the positive response that the SUV recieved during its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2012, there are high hopes attached to it.

One can book this SUV with a sum of Rs 51,000, although they have not given much detail on specifications, but has not even denied on what is available on various auto portals too. We have reported this earlier as well that the coming Renault Duster is based on the similar BO platform used in Logan, and has a length of 4.3 meters which makes it a family SUV.

This has been said to be coming in two engine options, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, which will produce the maximum power of 104bhp and 105bhp respectively. Renault Duster Diesel will be coming in a 6-speed manual tranmission, whereas the petrol will be a 5-speed manual. This will come in the price bracket of Rs. 8-10 Lakhs.
