The MG Windsor EV Pro was launched recently with a larger battery pack and some new comfort and safety features that makes it a better all-rounder EV in its segment. It locks horns with the Mahindra XUV400, which has been on sale for a while now. So, can the new Windsor EV Pro prove itself to be better than the Mahindra rival on paper? Let us find out.

Which EV To Buy?

The MG Windsor EV Pro, with a bigger battery pack now, comes at a price that is similar to the Mahindra XUV400’s top-spec variant. At this price point, it gets more modern-day comfort and convenience features, which are altogether missing on the Mahindra rival. Moreover, it is larger than the XUV400 in every manner and comes with a 135-degree reclining seat that will be more comfortable for rear seat occupants. It also has a larger boot space allowing it to carry more luggage than the XUV400 EV.

The Mahindra XUV400 has been on sale for a long time now and in a desperate need for an update to keep it in line with the increased competition. Mahindra was spotted testing an electric version of the XUV 3XO, which is expected to be launched by 2026. Until then, the MG Windsor EV is better than the Mahindra EV on paper in every aspect.
