Maruti R3 caught again during its test run
Maruti India is rigorously testing the soon to be launched MPV christened Maruti R3 which was spotted again undergoing test drive. The MPV was seen during its test run on the old Delhi, Gurgaon national highway. The new MPV being made under the Maruti stable seems to be short in length than what we had expected. The third row in the Maruti's yet to be launched MPV seems to be roomier enough to accommodate a bunch of kids. Being built on the Maruti Ritz hatchback's platform, the MPV is going to be 7-seater , featuring three rows. If we compare the MPV with the market leader Toyota Innova, the thrid row space in the Toyota Innova is huge, however the third row space in the new Maruti R3 seems to be petite. The reason behind the not so spacious third row is the low price which Maruti is targeting in order to attenuate Innova's sales.
