The list includes a range of utility and entertainment add-ons for the new MPV

Mahindra recently launched the TUV300 Plus MPV with prices starting from under Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom. With a 9-seater configuration, it is clearly a vehicle for fleet owners and those with extended families. And while it’s priced attractively, we would not recommend buyers to go for the base P4 variant that comes sans airbags and ABS. You can read our in-depth Variants Explained story here to know more about all the variants of the TUV300 Plus.

For those who’re picking one of the P6 or P8 variants, Mahindra has revealed an assortment of accessories for you to pick from. Here’s a look at what’s on offer:

Standout accessories

Front parking assist - Price: Rs 2500 (approx.)

Like rear parking sensors, Mahindra is offering the option to have sensors at the front too. It’s surprising why carmakers don’t have it as a feature in cars or even as an add-on since it’s not very different from rear parking sensors when it comes to functionality. Considering the TUV300 Plus’ substantial dimensions, it’s a feature owners should get fitted.

Logo projector - Price: Rs 850 (approx)

It’s a feature that might not be used as much as parking aids but is useful when you’re leaving the car at night. The projection of the car’s logo illuminates the surrounding area.

Tyre pressure monitoring system - Price: Rs 12300 (approx.)

While TPMS may warn you ahead of a flat tyre, maintaining the right tyre pressure can also help you achieve good fuel efficiency. It is, therefore, a feature that can useful for both private users as well as fleet operators.

Heads-up display - Price: Rs 6000 (approx.)

Mahindra has been offering it as a feature that you can have with any of its cars. The heads-up display projects information like the speed of the car on the front windscreen. It allows you to keep a check on vehicle data like speed without getting your eyes off the road, and should be useful for those who drive on highways often.
