Mahindra Quanto, the Official Name for Mini Xylo!
We have been constantly reporting about the upcoming Mahindra Mini Xylo and the stories surrounding it, the car has been doing test runs across India for quite some time now. Team-BHP has today brought a new set of pictures that has revealed two very crucial informations, first that the Mini Xylo or Xylo Mini will be called as Mahindra Quanto as the new pictures wear the ‘Quanto' nameplate.

The second most important information is that the Quanto will come with an additional third row of seats, so it becomes a 7-seater, but leaves no boot space in that case, however the last row of seats can be folded to be used as a boot-lid. Rest other details were already revealed by us in our previous set of spy shots, that the new Xylo has certainly got better in looks than the regular one. The looks of the car suggest it to be somewhere between a hatchback and a crossover, we would call it an extended hatchback. The spare wheel mounted on the rear gate gives it a muscular, SUV-like look. The upcoming Mahindra Quanto, will be a sub-4 meter UV and will house a 1.5-litre CRDi engine.
Ready for production, the Quanto's price is expected to start from Rs 5-6 lakh. Top end variant of the vehicle is likely to get all the advanced features including ABS, 6-spoke alloy wheels, Airbags, Steering-mounted audio controls, Height-Adjustable driver's seat, adjustable lumbar support, reverse parking assist, center armrest for driver and first seat passenger.
