Lamborghini, a name reminiscent with growl, grunt and exotic design, has had a very successful FY-2015. Its global sales had exceeded 3,000 units for the first time ever which led to an increase of 28% to 3,245 super sports cars. Furthermore, the turnover witnessed an increase of 39% to 872 million euros. All this was achieved by the success of five new models, which were introduced in the market.

Huracán LP 610-4 became the most successful car in terms of deliveries of V10-engined Lamborghini models. In its first full year on the market, a total of 2,242 Huracan units were delivered to customers. In the first 18 months following its market introduction, Huracan deliveries were 70% higher than those of its predecessor, the Gallardo, within the same period after market introduction.

Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini president and CEO said, "In 2015 we achieved growth of our business for the fifth year in a row and historic highs with key figures. We have also made wide-reaching strategic decisions that will facilitate the company’s mid and long-term success in global luxury automobile markets."

Sales of the Aventador LP 700-4 and the new Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce amounted to a total of 1,003 units. The delivery numbers in the 52 months, following market introduction, witnessed an increase of 124% over sales of its Murciélago predecessor within the same time period.

Stephan Winkelmann concluded, "With a highly attractive and young model range, consistent growth, a strong financial situation, high profitability and the strong appeal of our brand, 2016 sees us in a better situation than ever before. This success is a reason to celebrate, but even more it represents a responsibility to qualitatively continue this growth. On all levels, Lamborghini is in a strong position to face the future."
