India Bound Renault Duster Spied In Brazil
Renault Duster facelift is again spotted and this time it's in the South American Country, Brazil. Covered in the camouflage, the Duster is spied during its testing in Parana, near Sao Paulo which suggests its early arrival. We first revealed that Renault will bring the Duster facelift in India by the end of this year and with the testing vehicle spotted in Brazil, the automaker is planning to showcase the upgraded SUV at the upcoming Sao Paulo Auto Show in October and soon after it will introduce the upgraded SUV at the Indian auto sector.
Renault Duster facelift embraces LED DRLs along with a new bold honeycomb front grille with chrome surrounds and refurbished bumpers while the rear gets chrome exhaust tip and redesigned taillamp cluster. If media reports are to be believed, the facelift version gets a new Comet Grey color scheme and 16-inch alloy wheels. Renault Duster will share its styling cues with Dacia Duster which received facelift at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The interiors of the upgraded Duster have also gone under the hammer. The instrument and central console are redesigned and the car now gets automatic air conditioning with superior workmanship. Now since Duster is getting some serious competition from Ford EcoSport, the automaker might also introduce park assist, ESC and Cruise control in the upgraded version. The spied Brazilian Duster gets 1.6 and 2.0-litre engine while in India, the Duster will retain its mechanical specification of 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine.
Moreover, the automaker will also launch the new Duster 4WD in India by the next month. With shift-on-fly 4WD, the all wheel drive model features three modes - 2WD, Auto and 4WD Lock; along with Electronic Torque control system and Hill start assist, cruise control and Eco mode.
