Hyundai Sells 4 Million Vehicles In India!

Ever since its inception in India with the Santro, Hyundai has been largely successful in pleasing the customers. As a result, Hyundai has reached a new milestone with 4 Million vehicles sold in the Indian market. This 19 year long journey of the Korean automaker has seen its ups and downs but with their latest offering, Creta resisting a whopping 70,000 bookings in the Indian market, their journey has been more of a success. Not only in the SUV segment, Hyundai has been the leaders in the premium hatchback segment too with their Elite i20 which recently sold over 1,50,000 units domestically. The hatchback was introduced in the country in March 2014 and has won numerous awards like Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2015. Hyundai claims that Elite i20 now commands 66% market share in the premium hatchback segment.
