Hyundai hopes to increase sales through association with World Cup
Hyundai Motors is hoping for a wonder year as the world cup fever has started to roll on wide across the globe. The official sponsor of the World Cup 2011 is enthusiastic to be a part of the mega event and hopes to generate profit from the accelerating market. The second largest auto mobile manufacturer in India, Hyundai Motors is the official partner of the International Cricket Council. Literally the ball game being watched as a mythological play in India with people's sentiments attached to the game, the company wishes to win over the huge potential market.
As per the reports the auto mobile manufacturer's cars will be used in the tournament for transportation of the players and officials. Also there will be many other promotional activities to lure the potential buyers. It will include screening of live cricket matches in New Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai malls. The company has also included the dealerships in it as they will be giving merchandise run under promotional offers and tickets. Capital's new T3 airports will display Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Santa Fe car models throughout the world cup.
The vital tournament is being vigilantly watched by million of cricket enthusiast from every nook and corner of the world and for the Korean auto giant this is a very big opportunity to cater to the masses. They can build a strong relationship with its customers, increase its brand value and also help them in recalls. It will be beneficial for the auto company as it intends to expand its portfolio by launching few new car models in the coming financial year.
The rumours are doing the rounds, that the company plans to launch a car which will be priced below Rs 3 lakh. It was also heard that by second half of 2011-12 the company will launch the car. However, the auto giant is tight lipped about the same but the close sources revealed that it comes with such a style factor which is sure to capture the crowd.
